Our Mission
Sofiya’s Village THPP is dedicated to supporting transitional-age youth as they move
toward independence by providing safe housing, individualized guidance, and life-skills
development within a trauma-informed and supportive community. Our mission is to
empower youth to build stability, self-sufficiency, and confidence while honoring their
strengths, goals, and lived experiences.development.
Our Services
Sofiya’s Village THPP provides comprehensive, youth-centered services designed to
support transitional-age youth in developing the skills and stability needed for
successful independence. Services are delivered in a safe, structured, and trauma-
informed environment and are individualized based on each participant’s strengths,
needs, and goals.
• Safe and Stable Housing
Provision of supervised transitional housing in a supportive living environment that
promotes safety, accountability, and personal growth.
• Case Management and Individualized Support
Ongoing case management services, including assessment, goal planning, monitoring
progress, and coordination of care to support each youth’s transition to self-sufficiency.
• Life Skills Development
Structured life-skills training focused on budgeting and financial literacy, employment
readiness, education support, time management, self-care, household management,
and healthy decision-making.
• Education and Employment Support
Assistance with school enrollment and attendance, academic advocacy, vocational
training, job search support, résumé development, interview preparation, and workforce
readiness.
• Mental Health and Wellness Support
Linkage to mental health services, emotional support, crisis intervention, and skill-
building to promote emotional regulation, coping strategies, and overall well-being.
